General
The Sterling by Music Man Ray35 is a 5-string electric bass guitar that's based on the renowned StingRay 5 by Music Man. This more attractively-priced version has the same classic characteristics as the original model including the shape of the pickguard, an active 3-band tone control and the possibility to split the coils on the H - 1 Alnico humbucker pickup giving you bright single-coil sounds too.
The sound of the Ray35
This Ray 35 has a body made of mahogany that produces a warm sound with rich sustain. The body's vibrations are picked up by the Alnico humbucker that delivers punchy tones to your amplifier that are perfect for music styles like funk and rock. Using the 3-band EQ, you can fine tune the legendary StingRay-like sounds to perfection. This model also comes complete with a deluxe gig bag.
Robust construction
The Sterling by Music Man Ray35 has 21 frets on a roasted maple neck that's attached to the body using 6 bolts. This robust construction guarantees optimal sound transference and sustain. The easy-access truss-rod nut on the end of the neck allows you to make adjustments very easily too.
